VIETNAM 10 DAYS – AT A GLANCE FROM SOUTH TO NORTH

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN HOCHIMINH CITY (-/-/-)

Arrival Ho Chi Minh city. Welcome to Saigon! You will be met at the airport and transferred to a hotel in Sai Gon. After checking into the hotel, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Sai Gon is a bustling, dynamic and industrious center, the largest city in the country, the economic capital and the cultural trendsetter. Yet within the teeming metropolis are the timeless traditions and beauty of an ancient culture. Overnight in Saigon. 

Day 2: SAIGON –  MY THO – BEN TRE (B/L-)

A smooth one-and-half-hour bus ride through rice field scenery along National Highway 1 brings you to the beautiful rural district of Trung Luong.
On arrival at My Tho, after visiting Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely cruise on the Tien River to view the four beautiful islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. Boats pass by the fish rafts along the Tien River, overlooking the Rach Mieu Bridge. Stroll along the village road, visit the orchard and enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by locals.
Riding a hand-rowed sampan through the Tan Thach canal. Then visit the coconut candy mill and take an amazing rowing boat trip along the small canal on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals.
Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant; Then the motorboat will take you back to the cruise. Meet on the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta, and you are guaranteed to take home your private collection of beautiful memories. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 3: HOCHIMINH CITY – FLIGHT TO DANANG – HOIAN (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
08:00 AM: Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, which was built on the site of the former Norodom palace. The Independence Palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.
12:00 PM: Transfer back to your hotel or You have free time until departure time for your flight to Da Nang.
Arrive Da Nang, drive to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 4: HOIAN – MY SON HOLYLAND – HOIAN (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
7:30-8:00 Our guide picks you up at your hotel and departs to My Son Sanctuary – The World Cultural Heritage.
9:30 Arrive at My Son and we’ll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking through the landscape, learning histories with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoying the Champa’s traditional performances.
11:45 Get back to the minivan and move to a local house to learn how to make rice paper, you will enjoy your own hand-making product later on!
12:30  Back to the van and have lunch at another local house. relax with cold herbal tea,  nice food, and fresh air.
13:30 Take a boat trip to Hoi An with the nice and cool breeze onboard, and beautiful river scenery on the biggest river in Central Vietnam named Thu Bon River.
14:00 Arrive in Hoi An, we will drop you off at your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: HOIAN – HUE (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel and check out the hotel in Hoi An.
Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel reception in Hoi An. Begin your journey to Hue by crossing one of the best coastal roads in the world, the Hai Van Pass or Hai Van Tunnel road. You will have a 30-minute stop at the peak and 5 – 10 minutes to take photos at Lap An lagoon which is a highlight of the beautiful Lang Co sea picture. Visit the Khai Dinh Tomb. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a Local Specialty Restaurant serving Hue style dishes. After lunch, continue to Hue’s main attraction, The Imperial Citadel.
Then explore Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue largest pagoda. Drop you off at the hotel in Hue. Check in at the hotel and free time. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6 : HUE – FLIGHT TO HANOI – STREET FOOD TOUR (B/L/-)

Breakfast at your hotel and free time until departure time for your flight to Hanoi. Recommend time: morning time or afternoon time before 15h00 PM. After Arriving in Hanoi, the driver picks up at the airport and drives to the hotel in Ha Noi for check in.
in the Street Food tour in the late afternoon our guide will take tourists to eat at lots of special corners, alleys and restaurants of The Old Quarter that you might miss if you go by yourself  to try variety of street foods and drinks such as:

Return to the hotel after dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 7: HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ONBOARD THE CRUISE (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
08.00 – 8.30 Leave Ha Noi city for HaLong International Cruise Port in Bai Chay town, Ha Long city. Refresh up at the lounge.
12.00 – 12.30 Embark Ha Long Cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink and get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.
13.15 Have lunch while cruising in the magnificent Ha Long Bay, admiring the fascinating nature, then anchor at Titop Island area.
15.00 – 16.00 Join a guided visit to Sung Sot Cave (also called Amazing Cave), one of the biggest and the most beautiful caves in HaLong Bay.
16.00 – 17.00 Climb to the peak of Titop Island for the panorama view of the bay. Going down and relaxing on the beach, swimming in the crystal water.
17.20  Return Ha Long Cruise , enjoying the sunset while relaxing with Happy hour from now to dinner time at the bar.
18.00 Enjoy happy hours with various drinks on discounts. Take part in a cooking demonstration and food décor with our Chef
19.00 – 21.00 Dinner is served. Private dinner is available on requested
21.00 – 22.00 Time to join squid fishing with the crew, sing karaoke or just laze around or relax in your cabin.

Notes: You can bring a small luggage on the tour. The rest of luggage can be sent to the reception. You will get it back when you come back to Ha Noi.

Day 8: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L/-)

06.30 Welcome a new day with amazing dawn on the Legendary Gulf of Tonkin. Refresh your body & soul by a Tai-chi lesson on the sundeck.
07.00 – 08.00 Catch morning view of seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast while charming the labyrinth of Karst.
8.00 – 9.00 Join a guided tour to explore hidden parts of the bay, Luon cave. You share a sampan with other tourists with a local rower or take a kayak on your own.
09.00 Return to Ha Long Cruise for a shower.
09.30 Check out your room. Continue to roam the picturesque route toward Bai Chay bridge for photos.
10.50 Have lunch.
11.30 – 11.45 Disembark.
12.00 – 16.30 Transfer back to Ha Noi City and the trip finishes at the hotel around 16h30.
Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 9: HANOI – HOALU – TAM COC BOAT TRIP (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
07h30 – 8h00 : Get picked up by our friendly guide then depart for Ninh Binh province
09h15 : Have a short break for 15 – 20 mins to relax
10h30 : Visit Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le and Ly Dynasty
11h45 : Buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods: goat meat, fried rice, ect. Vegetarian foods is always available in the buffet lunch
13h00 : Visit Tam Coc  by 1.5 hour bamboo boat.  During the boat trip, you will be surprised by the charming beauty  here with paddy fields, river, water, cloud, sky and stunning cave system. All make a masterpiece which is named “ Halong Bay on land”
14h30 : Continue the tour for  45 mins – cycling around the village to discover the life of local people.
15h30 – 16h00 : Get on the bus to return to Hanoi
18h30 : Get dropped off at a hotel  in Hanoi.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 10: HANOI DEPARTURE (B/L/-)

Breakfast at your hotel.
Free time and easy until being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
